"The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change."

My Philosophy

As an educator, I believe that education is the one of the most important aspects of a person’s life. Gaining knowledge of any form or type can help individuals advance in many stages of life. I believe that there are two essential parts to student learning: educators’ contributions and the student’s willingness to learn.

I believe that it is the educator’s role to utilize different styles of teaching so that the information provided is accessible to all students. The most common learning styles are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic; however some students can learn from a combination of these styles.

Although it is important for the educator to adapt their lesson and lectures to fit these styles of learning, students must also have a willingness to learn. Though the educator provides the information it is up to the students to absorb and apply what is being taught.
